We have a home

After a long search and looking into various options, we have not one but two homes!   The first is our official headquarters: The Seafront Centre, Church Street, Golspie.  Many thanks to the Sutherland Outdoor Activities Project for allowing us use of the space.  We intend to use this as our centre for operations, coffee refills and general meeting spot. First Skiff Kit Ordered

Have have now ordered the first skiff kit.  It should be with us within 3 months. We have yet to secure premises for the build and have a long road to go before we can put glue to wood. Committee visit Helmsdale Rowing Club

Sutherland Sports Council

Sutherland Sports Council is a voluntary body which exists to promote and develop local sporting opportunities. Golspie Rowing Club has applied and been approved membership of the SSC.  This will open avenue of collaboration with other local sporting groups.   An application has been made by Campbell Port on behalf of Golspie Rowing Club for a start-up grant from SSC.  This will assist with the cost associated with starting the Club and related... read more
